Describe your most ideal day from beginning to end.
A good day for me would look like this…
Being a mere mortal, and a woman of faith….a good day starts with the gift of waking up, and realizing what a beautiful blessing that is. It’s a good day.
I’ve got a husband who loves me, despite all my many flaws, and abundant metaphorical warts.
My cats and dogs are thrilled with the prospect of another day. And with that, another breakfast. Their day is off to a good start, and so is mine. It’s a good day.
I feed the menagerie of 12 four-legged furry friends.
I open the back door to let the dogs out, and to fill the bird feeder. Seems we have a family of tree swallows nesting in the birdhouse. What a blessing to watch them build their nest. It’s a good day.
This is Mama.
clean the house like every other day. How wonderful it is that I have a home to clean, and to shelter my loved ones. It’s a good day.
I sit on the back deck and read and breathe in all the beauty that surrounds me. My dogs are at my feet, and the cats are in the cat tree behind me. It’s an ordinary day, but it’s a good day.do a bit of gardening, watering, and cleaning the poop up in the yard. I’m thrilled I’m still able to do these everyday tasks. It’s a good day.
Hubby and I walk the dogs, which we do every day, but it happens to be one of my favorite joys. It’s a very good day. We all settle in for the evening. He makes dinner, we watch a bit of T.V., I tease him about one thing or the other, and we laugh, and enjoy the last bit of light and sunset, as does the kitty sitting in the cat tree. It was a good day. To me, good days, are those days when the most mundane, and often daily tasks are appreciated.
I recognize what a miracle an ordinary day is. Let connect
